The Masters Behind the Mug: LCF 2025's Brewers Cup Winners

What began as a gathering of 41 passionate brewers turned into a celebration of craftsmanship, community, and the art of coffee as the Lakeside Coffee Festival held its Brewers Cup on October 19, 2025, at Lake Pinamaloy, Don Carlos, Bukidnon.
From these 41 brewers, fifteen advanced to the next round, and after a full day of skill, precision, and passion, three names rose to the top:
Champion – Genesis Timogan (St. Rock’s Coffee House)
1st Place – Shiela Mae Dagangon (Vento Kōhī)
2nd Place – Mark Aaron Dime (Cagayan de Oro City)
Using Sarchimor Coffee from Finca de Garces, roasted by Yardstick, these brewers showcased not only their technical mastery but also their deep connection to the craft — where every cup poured was a reflection of both discipline and devotion.
The top three winners received exciting merchandise from Plainsight Coffee Roasters, Rebel Bakehouse, Alaska, BNDT, and Coffai, along with cash prizes of ₱7,500 (2nd Place), ₱10,000 (1st Place), and ₱20,000 (Champion).
